Counseling allows you to explore your life and discover who you are in the setting of a safe and caring relationship. In our work together, I will accept and honor you precisely as you are, recognizing your strengths and engaging in the difficult times of your life with empathy and hope. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment in which you may find yourself and go forward with courage and confidence.
I work with individuals who are seeking help with trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, body image difficulties, and gender/sexuality affirmation. I take a culturally competent holistic approach to therapy, which may include humanistic and person-centered therapies, trauma-informed cognitive work, a combination of somatic and strength-based techniques, and mindfulness. I am devoted to delivering inclusive and affirming treatment that acknowledges and respects all my clients' lived experiences. I see clients in person at both the Lancaster and East Petersburg sites, as well as online.
I am now pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Alvernia University, and I previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from Ithaca College. My long-term aspirations include becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and earning a PsyD in Counseling Psychology.
I was born and raised in Lancaster and worked for 6 years in theater before transitioning to counseling. I love dogs, role-playing games, karaoke, and creative writing.
